Opt-In Policy

Opt-In Policy

Last Updated: 03/15/2024

At Silver Rapid, we are committed to compliance with the regulations and guidelines set forth by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) regarding 10DLC (10 Digit Long Code) messaging. This Opt-In Policy (“Policy”) outlines our procedures for obtaining express consent from recipients before sending commercial messages via 10DLC. By using our messaging services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

  1. Express Consent

Before sending commercial messages via 10DLC, we require express consent from recipients. Express consent means that recipients have explicitly opted in to receive messages from us and have not opted out. We obtain express consent through clear and conspicuous opt-in mechanisms, such as:

  • Providing a checkbox on a web form or mobile app that recipients must actively select to opt in.
  • Sending a confirmation message to recipients asking them to reply with a specific keyword or short code to confirm their opt-in.
  1. Opt-In Confirmation

Upon receiving opt-in requests from recipients, we send a confirmation message to verify their consent and provide additional information about the messaging program, including:

  • The purpose of the messages they will receive.
  • The frequency of messages they can expect.
  • Instructions for opting out of future messages.

Recipients must confirm their opt-in by replying to the confirmation message with the specified keyword or short code.

  1. Opt-Out Mechanism

We provide recipients with clear and easy-to-use opt-out mechanisms to stop receiving messages at any time. Recipients can opt out by:

  • Replying to any message with the word “STOP” or another designated keyword.
  • Texting a designated short code with the word “STOP.”

Upon receiving an opt-out request, we promptly remove the recipient’s contact information from our messaging list and cease all further communications.

  1. Compliance Monitoring

We monitor our messaging activities to ensure compliance with this Policy and applicable regulations. This includes maintaining records of opt-in and opt-out requests, monitoring message content for compliance with CTIA guidelines, and promptly addressing any compliance issues or complaints.

  1. Data Protection

We protect the privacy and security of recipient data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share recipient contact information or message content with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent, except as required by law.

  1. Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice to reflect changes in regulations or industry best practices. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy on our website.
