FCC Do Not Call Notice
Last Updated: 03/15/2024
As a telecommunications service provider, Silver Rapid is committed to compliance with the regulations and guidelines established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), particularly regarding the National Do Not Call Registry. This notice serves to inform our customers and users about their rights and limitations under the FCC’s regulations.
Important Information:
The National Do Not Call Registry is a list maintained by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that allows consumers to opt out of receiving telemarketing calls.
Please note that the Do-Not-Call Registry will not prevent and does not cover:
- Calls from organizations with which you have established a business relationship: If you have conducted business with an organization or provided your contact information to them, they may still contact you for non-telemarketing purposes.
- Calls for which you have given prior written consent: If you have given explicit consent to receive calls from a particular organization, they may contact you even if your number is on the Do-Not-Call Registry.
- Calls which are not commercial or do not include unsolicited advertisements: Certain calls, such as informational or non-commercial calls, may not be subject to the Do-Not-Call regulations.
- Calls by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations: Calls made by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations are exempt from the Do-Not-Call regulations.
It is important to be aware of these exceptions when considering your options for reducing unwanted telemarketing calls.
